now that is cool :) ..... i really hate the standard gmail handling of editing replies etc ......this makes it MUCH more sense :D

It looks good. Is it supposed to work only for reply emails and not for emails created from scratch (a New Message)? Also, is there a way to keep the Formatting options setting off by default?
