Never miss a chat message!

Shows desktop notifications when you receive a chat in gmail. Never miss a chat message again!

NOTE:

You *must* have a gmail tab open in order to receive chat notifications.

KNOWN ISSUES:

Some of the google labs features might break this extension. The "SMS in Chat" feature is known to cause problems. I will try to fix this in the future.

FUTURE:

I plan on adding notification timeout options, and ambiguous notifications in the event you don't want the full chat message displayed.

Works great. I read that you have to have opened gmail in your tab.. I always have my gmail open in pinned tab so this was no issue for me.

Get it to work when gmail tab is closed: i.e. 1. Tab closed - user did not sign out. 2. Tab closed - user signed out first. (Probably not possible). 3. Use the "Signed into Chrome" status??? NOT NEEDED IF GMAIL TAB IS OPEN, YOU GET GMAIL'S NOTIFICATION.
