Extension to create footnotes between scriptures and General Conference talks from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints
Studying the scriptures just got a huge upgrade with the Gospel Buddy extension. This brilliant tool links verses directly to insights from modern prophets and apostles of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. With just a click, you'll see how many times a particular scripture has been referenced in the Church's recent General Conferences. (from 1971 to present) Another click pulls up a table listing those relevant talks, letting you easily read what living Church leaders have taught about that passage and how much of it they quoted in the talk! It's like having a virtual study group with prophetic voices offering inspired commentary on the verses you're reading. No more scouring footnotes or flipping through books to find those enriching insights - Gospel Buddy puts it all at your fingertips and introduces you to a new way to deepen your study of Conference talks with the Standard Works. The extension lets you customize settings like color themes and choose whether to see references from all speakers or just focus on the Apostles. But the real power is how it eliminates a major hurdle in traditional scripture study. Instead of reading scriptures in isolation, Gospel Buddy creates a flowing dialogue with modern prophetic perspectives woven right into your reading. If you've ever felt scripture study could use a boost, this extension is a must-try. Gospel Buddy turns solitary study into a guided experience connecting ancient and modern revelation for unparalleled understanding and inspiration.
This is such a great tool for studying! It's easy to use, and can help you quickly find relevant conference talks for any chapter. I also love the feature to filter by General Conference talks given by Apostles! Thank you so much for creating this awesome extension!
This extension is perfect for studying Come Follow Me! Linking to General Conference talks within the scriptures to study has really enhanced my study. I also love seeing the number of times a certain verse has appeared as a footnote in Conference talks. I feel that feature helps me to quickly identify the important themes of what I'm reading. Not to say that any scriptures are more important than others, but being able to quickly jump to a conference talk and read what they had to say about a verse is fascinating!
