Track time from Chrome so you never miss a billable minute.
I was hesitant to download the extension after reading all of these reviews, but finally decided to try it and see for myself. I tend to switch projects often and not having an extension makes my time-tracking extremely difficult. I'm happy to say, it seems to be working perfectly fine after several hours of use using the DuckDuckGo extension on Chrome (Windows). I'll update this if I run into any crashes, but so far so good!
Downloaded literally 2 minutes ago, tried to log in and it crashed at "Choose a business to start in..." so had to write an immediate review because I like FreshBooks otherwise and consider them my best, most comprehensive solution after much research. If FreshBooks would publish a well-functioning time-tracking tool that integrates seamlessly _inside_ a project management tool like Notion, I would be forever grateful and surely some other users too. Check Everhour for inspiration re the integration with Notion. I'm a Freshbooks premium customer still exploring whether to commit fully and this is the main missing functionality for me.
Many times the extension struggles to load and must be clicked and left multiple times or it sits and spins. Previous versions as others mentioned did work better, and I too am missing the search feature. Another feature that would be helpful would be a quick click to open freshbooks in a new tab. Due to the loss of search feature and the loading issue, I've given the extension a 3/5 stars. I'm a long time user (more than 8 years) of Freshbooks.
