Watch videos ~1.5x faster by fast-forwarding long pauses between sentences

⏩ Skips (or fast-forwards) silent parts in videos in real time and completely automatically.

🌐 Supports YouTube, Coursera, Twitch, local files, and (almost) any other website.

Useful for watching 👨‍🏫 lectures,🔴 stream recordings (VODs), 🎙️ podcasts, webinars, 📞 call & audio recordings, and other unedited videos where the speakers spend a portion of time on things other than talking.
But even if the video is tightly packed, it can also save a bit of time, so it's generally fine to keep it always on.

🕵️🚫 Fully offline and local. Does not track you or send your data anywhere.

🔃 Easy to turn on and off, without having to reload the page (it's there to save time after all!).

mostro te agradezco muchísimo que hayas hecho esta app, tengo clases grabadas de profesores que hablan lentisimo o dejan muchos tiempos de silencio entre frases o diapos, esto me hace pasables esos videos y me ahorro tiempo. gracias

i have been testing this addon for a few days now and i can not believe how this just works flawlessly on youtube! before, i had to skip many many many times over the course of an hour long video just to hear a minute or two of actual audio. now it's all automatic and without hiccups! at first, this extension was picking up keyboard noises from the video i was watching so i had to tweak "lowest speech loudness" to 0.050 and now it's automagically skipping over silent parts, keyboard noises, random background noises, and plays just the parts where there is actual voice! it's very easy to figure out the exact loudness level since there's a graph that you can open and the red bar is your current setting. if you're still hearing silence, increase your level (and the red bar will raise with it indicating your new level or threshold). rinse and repeat until you find the exact level for your video speaker. it is well documented (there's hints everywhere if you just point your mouse over any setting) so you know exactly what all the different options do and you can tweak it depending on the video that you're watching in my case, this reduced an hour-long video to about 25-30mins of actual content! amazing, amazing addon! thank you so much!!!
