I first got into Hashpack when they launched the iOS Beta. At the time, I was storing all my HBARs in an Uphold wallet, but after the wallet scams of 2022, I knew it was time to move away from centralized exchanges. So, when the opportunity to try out Hashpack on iOS came up, I didn’t hesitate. What started as a basic wallet where I could see my HBARs quickly evolved into a feature-rich app with NFTs, Dapps, and staking options. Honestly, I probably wouldn’t have bought my first NFT if it weren’t for Hashpack. In May, I took the plunge and bought the Hashpack Gold Supporter NFT, which opened my eyes to how NFTs can be so much more than just digital art. I spent the rest of the year earning coins and NFTs simply by holding that Gold Supporter NFT in my wallet. Now, I own more Hashpack and HMNKY NFTs than I do coins. Hashpack has hands down been my best experience in web3 and DeFi. It’s not like MetaMask, which was my worst crypto experience so far. Hashpack is intuitive and user-friendly, and it’s made crypto accessible for everyone—even my mom was able to set up her wallet on her own, something she couldn’t do with MetaMask back in 2020. The option to create a wallet with an email or a seed phrase makes onboarding easy for anyone. By 2024, I’ve helped friends and even strangers get started, and they’ve all found Hashpack to be an easy experience.
