Description

Remove Google doodles from the new tab page.

This extension replaces the new tab page with a page that aims to remain visually similar to the new tab page but without any Google doodles.

NOTE: Personalized and dynamic aspects of the new tab page (such as themes, wallpapers and shortcuts) are not supported.

Does what it says, but with MASSIVE compromises. No shortcuts, and no theme images, particularly if you use an AI-generated one. Can't really recommend it.

It works as described - but - why no Shortcuts allowed in the 'Doodle-free' New Tab? Riddle me this: New Tab 'con-Doodle' = 71.2MB. New Tab 'sin-Doodle' = 23.8MB. Multiply the differential by all of the New Tabs opened in a day...in a week....in a year. Is the 'with-Doodle' default setting value-add, or vainglorious?
