Shortcuts In Newtab

After all my new tab shortcut icons disappearing from chromium 3 hours ago, ( for no reason ) and no way to get them back, "customize button" is not where it is supposed to be.No way to "reset" chromium ( linux mint 19.1 ) without losing months of data cookies ( I'm hooked into MS AI system in this browser, I hate chrome, chromium and all it's offspring ( firefox user ) but began with MS AI in this browser and have to stick with it for this ) searched ( and tried other "new page / tab" shortcut extensions.All bloated , and or scam/scumware, or subscriptionware or reviews saying "used to be good, gone greedy" etc..or waaay more "features" than required "singing dancing" icons, screenshots of sites etc. I found this ..tiny simple extension, coding like it used to be and is meant to be, clean, lean and efficient...love it..recommend totally. Dark theme would be nice if the dev has the time, if not , love it anyway :-) maybe look at the way it changes the "newtab" text in the new tab "tab" to Japanese rather than uses the system language ( at least it does on my system )..but again that is no "big thing" although it might put some people off.Just went to the dev's website for a look around ..love it too ..nice sense of humour ;-))
