Tool for measuring distance and acreage on a map

This Chrome extension opens a searchable map that has a polygon drawing tool and a line drawing tool. With these tools the user can measure acreages and distances.

Simply does not work. Toggle doesn't work, sliders don't work. Can only do areas.

well it wont get any bigger than a small window on upper right corner of page and i cant measure anything with it so really what good is it?

It had some display issues on my Mac. It also doesn't appear to measure in anything but miles. I'd like kilometres.
