👉 When you make a sale using Lemonsqueezy, they charge you a small fee ($0.50 + 5% of total), known as a “platform fee,” to cover the costs of transaction fees.

🤔 What are processing fees?
👉 There are certain times when an additional fee might be added to the platform fee to cover processing fees:

+1.5% for international (outside of the US) transactions
+1.5% for PayPal transactions
+0.5% for subscription payments

🤔 What is VAT?
👉 Value Added Tax (VAT) is an indirect consumption tax levied on a product or service at each point of its production and distribution cycle, encompassing both tangible goods and digital products.

🤔 How do VAT rates work when selling my product?
👉 If you sell digital products or services on lemonsqueezy, collecting and paying VAT on the sale of digital items in some countries is a necessity. You don’t have to worry about collecting and remitting sales tax (including international tax like VAT) as lemonsqueezy simply takes care of it for you.
