We have built the first AI detector to use scientific methods rooted in physics, where we use concepts such as signal to noise and variety to differentiate human-created and AI-generated content. Our tool “Mattie” brings scientific rigor and understandable results to an industry that is currently filled with uncertainty and fear impacting all of our lives. Mattie is a contemporary reference to the ancient Egyptian goddess Ma'at of truth, justice, balance, and order. With our strong background in physics, we used concepts such as signal to noise and variety to differentiate human-created and AI-generated content.
