Speed up your browser with few tweaks via toolbar popup!

Speed Tweaks is an addon that helps you speed up your browser by using a few different tweaks. Simply open the toolbar popup and mark the desired item(s). Please note that none of the tweaks are selected by default.

Currently, there are 7 tweaks available for this addon:
1. Blocking most common ads.
2. DNS pre-fetching.
3. Blocking images from loading.
4. Speed-up rendering on page-scroll.
5. Loading mobile version of sites.
6. Discarding all inactive tabs from memory.
7. Clearing the browser's cache.

Note 1: depending on your browser version and platform, this addon might behave differently.

Works decently well, and I love the ability to switch to the mobile version of youtube to save on resources... but doing so also forces my browser to switch to google docs mobile; which is bad enough when considering how it doesn't show distinct pages, and even worse when there seems to be some sort of bug preventing me from actually editing my documents in mobile. TDLR; There needs to be a way to selectively choose which sites are switched to their mobile equivalent, because using youtube mobile is great but using google docs mobile is horrible.

One of the best extension to have on your browser. Speeds up page loading time significantly. I recommend turning on Block ads, Network Prediction, Page scroll and cache control for gaining speed without losing on appearance or having problem. I love it, increases loading speed significantly. The extension is not updated since June, 2022 but works very well till this date (7th Feb, 2023) and I found no other extension to do such a good job to increasing loading speed, as most extensions are so heavy that they decrease loading speeds.
